Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to join the Industrial and Healthcare Materials organization supporting our Performance Tapes business in North America (PTNA). In this position, you will support Marketing, Sales, and Business Development by being responsible for leading the P&L for a select product portfolio, managing our commercial improvement processes and managing our Salesforce.com CRM business tool and systems. We are looking for an individual that fits in well with our ambitious environment and is passionate about bold growth. You will report to our Director, North American Marketing - Performance Tapes.

Key responsibilities:

Product Management Responsibilities

  • Responsible for executing on pricing strategies for the assigned products to optimize growth and profitability.

  • Lead commercial process improvement projects. Perform problem definition, analysis, solution development, and implementation oversight to cross functional projects.

  • Provide market, competitive and tactical information to help better introduce/implement products, programs and services.

  • Contribute to the development of strategic and annual operating plans and support the efforts of a cross-functional team to understand segment trends and actions needed to meet evolving customer and market needs.

  • Support development and implementation of key segment communication plans including product promotions, data sheets, selling sheets, training, PR, advertising, website, on-line marketing material etc.

Salesforce.com (SFDC) Responsibilities

  • Responsible for effective management of day to day SFDC administration and development for PTNA.

  • Manage and act as the divisional CRM SFDC lead, developing strategies and plans to improve our efficiency using SFDC.

  • Work with the SFDC IT team on implementing system changes. Enter and manage all SFDC help desk tickets and ensure the solutions work for the business users.

  • Act as Functional/Business Unit Project Manager for SFDC CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Software implementation, execution and ongoing management of the tool.

  • Build and revise critical documents and tools such as SFDC dashboards, reports, pricing data, and internal presentations for various marketing and sales activities.

  • Responsible for SFDC campaigns and ensuring data is accurately imported for campaigns, accounts, field updates, etc. (ex. leads tied to campaigns)

  • SFDC training process and for training/onboarding new commercial team members. Be available to field questions from business users. Maintain the PTNA Commercial Playbook.

  • Build tools to measure the trends, efficiency, and effectiveness of sales and marketing resources across sales regions and segments.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of annual sales meeting and other customer focused events.



  • Bachelor degree or experience working in a technical, business to business environment

  • Experience working with SFDC systems and other computer software such as Google suite, and/or MS Office.

  • Possess teamwork, leadership and facilitation skills in order to generate support and excitement among an informal, cross-functional team in a matrixed organization.

  • Good analytical, strategic, and communication skills.

  • Strong financial and business insight with consistent track record of results.

  • Strong project leadership and critical thinking skills.


  • Sales and/or Marketing focus experience

  • Experience working with SFDC CPQ system
