Job Description

The Product Line Manager (PLM) for our In Plant Printing Solutions (IPPS) Media is a strategic role that will be tasked with developing strategies, solutions and products that have the potential to transform current business models and/or create new revenue streams; whilst supporting the growth of factory solutions hardware.

Working closely with the PLM for IPPS hardware in particular, you will identify product gaps in individual product solutions, or the pairing of media products - including thermal transfer inks, fabrics, paper and pressure sensitive materials - in the IPPS space.

As a key member of our product line management team, you will also be responsible for sizing the overall market, understanding the competitive landscape, contributing to the IPPS product line strategy, developing tools that make clear our value proposition in each field of play - alongside specific, high value, profit pools such as footwear

A key requirement for you in this role is also to Identify solutions that resolve current sustainability concerns within the product line.

Starting as an individual contributor, you will work with our commercial, business development, innovation, and factory automation teams to develop new solutions that unlock new opportunities and revenue for our apparel business.

The key performance measures for this job role are:

  • Developing and managing the lifecycle of a portfolio of IPPS solutions

  • Manage the innovation and release of new products and solutions through our structured commercialization process

  • Identifying current fields of play with existing portfolio, and develop selling tools and strategies

  • Achieving solution sales growth in line with agreed annual goals

  • Proactively supporting all identified solution initiatives

  • Showing initiative in developing new and Innovative approaches to challenges of the role

  • Building network of contacts internally and externally to support role

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience at analysing complex data

  • Self-starter, takes initiative, and has an entrepreneurial spirit that is able to work independently and collaboratively

  • Ability to understand and create value; demonstrated track record developing and executing new business ventures

  • Strong influencing skills, public speaking skills and ability to champion projects both cross functionally and vertically within the organization

  • Strategic sales management experience, international exposure preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 6+ years related business experience, emphasizing sales, business development and marketing desired

  • Demonstrated success in cross-regional projects or initiatives

  • Advanced business and financial acumen needed

  • Experience in product life cycle analysis and planning

  • Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner

  • Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite tools and function specific software.

  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills

  • Apparel & Footwear industry relationships preferred
