Job Description

  • Develop and deploy total preventive maintenance (TPM) systems including processes and training to ensure minimal lost time due to breakdown.

  • Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.  Solutions will be thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.

  • Orients, trains, assigns and checks the work of junior level employees. 

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.   

  • Drive growth, cost reduction, yield and product quality improvements, capacity increases and EHS improvements.

  • Maintain awareness of new developments in technology and how they can be applied to the business.  

  • Ensure that all reports follow the Standard Operating Conditions and training instructions.  

  • Collaborate with other functional areas to resolve problems and develop improved manufacturing processes.

  • Provide leadership for team-based continuous improvement projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree required with 5+ years of technical experience working with printing equipment and training employees. 

  • Extensive knowledge of all equipment used in embellishment process

  • Demonstrated ability to complete difficult technical tasks without immediate supervision

  • Ability to run and design experiments as needed. 

  • Ability to communicate best practices through training of others and investigating new methods. 

  • Understanding of computer systems such as Microsoft Office, Google and function specific software. 

  • Excellent project management, analytical and problem solving skills. 

  • Skilled in working collaboratively  with cross-functional teams to define and execute overall requirements.  

  • Knowledge of process documentation and process improvement.
