Job Description

Oracle Consulting professional design, build, implement and support SCM Solutions that can help enhance Avery Dennison (AD) business performance. Offer advice and expertise to AD to help them improve their business performance in terms of operations, procurement, inventory and order entry processes. The work would stretch across a variety of areas, including Procurement, Inventory and Strategy. Working closely with the Business users from Operations department, implement plans from IT & Business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Adapt existing methods to create best solutions to solve complex business problems

  • Understands the strategic requirements and direction of AD and offer Solutions.

  • Use considerable judgment to determine solutions and seeks guidance on complex problems

  • Implement/Configure Oracle SCM and Manufacturing modules on Oracle R12.2.X and 11.5.7 in the areas of Order Management (OM), Oracle Inventory (INV), Purchasing(PO), Pricing, Oracle Advanced Pricing, Shipping Execution, Cost Management and Advanced Supply Chain Plan(ASCP), Capacity Planning, Demand Planning and Manufacturing(Bills of Material and Work In Progress).

  • Support project teams engaged in the successful delivery of a wide range of AD SCM initiatives, aligning SCM with business strategy

  • Work with IT and Supply Chain management to develop Digital strategies by doing the following:

  • Helping define end-to-end SCM and Manufacturing processes

  • Implementing/Supporting end-to-end On Premise ERP and Enterprise Value business solutions for AD

  • Helping develop approach to implement digital technology and SCM applications to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness

  • Provide support on Oracle SCM and Manufaturing Modules/Solutions implemented at AD

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently domestic and international.

  • Apparel background and/or APICS certification is a strong plus

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience working on implementation, upgrades, enhancements and support projects in Oracle EBS 11i/R12.2.X and knowledge of Oracle’s cloud products.

  • Overall 10+ years of combined SCM, Manufacturing, and ERP consulting implementing experience.

  • Experience must include: Solid understanding of the SCM functions, operating models and supporting organization structures and process best practices

  • Strong knowledge of Order Management (OM), Oracle Inventory (INV), Purchasing(PO), Pricing, Oracle Advanced Pricing, Shipping Execution, Cost Management and Advanced Supply Chain Plan(ASCP), Capacity Planning, Demand Planning and Manufacturing(Work In Process).

  • Solid project management experience including: defining scope, setting project timelines and milestone, driving deliverables, identifying risks, managing issues, and client relationship management

  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate with clients, lead key requirement workshops, document and understand requirements

  • Strong competence in developing presentations required (Google Docs, Presentations, and sheets. Strong Competence of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)) is ok as we can train on Google.

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, Advanced Degree like a MBA is desirable

  • Demonstrated Oracle configuration/ implementation experience, with Oracle R12.2.X

  • Knowledge of working with Oracle tools like Reports, XML Publisher, BI Publisher.

  • Thorough understanding of Oracle EBS APIs, Open Interfaces and Conversions, Workflows and Forms Personalization

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with associates and management at all levels

  • Ability to work closely with management, application development and various other teams spread across multiple AD business areas.

  • Analyse, understand and translate business requirements into functional design specification

  • Documentation AIMS Standards RD020, MD030, MD050, BR100 etc.

  • Develop Test scripts & Training Documents

  • Conduct and Participate in UAT, CRP

  • Industry experience preferred in Manufacturing and Apparel industries
