As a member of the PSD Pricing Team, the incumbent is responsible for performing tasks related to pricing. Incumbent provides assistance, training, guidance and supports other team members.
Determines cost and calculates margin for price deviations. Approve/reject deviations within scope of authority and refer others to management for approval.
Interprets and verifies terms of agreements, deviations, trades/shares, and orders, shipping methods, order site, up charges, backorders, override and extended warranty requirements.
Maintains all price agreement tables and files that control agreement pricing and product information.
Supports Direct Mail Operations by controlling and maintaining resale and promotional price files (i.e. sets up new products and quotes, updates pricing, sets up promotions for wraps, solos, inserts & stuffers, enters all new drop ship products, etc.)
Evaluates and distributes customer performance-to-agreement report and initiates changes to agreement prices as necessary to comply with established pricing policies.
Maintains EDI communication ID files, UPC files and EDI conversion tables.
Investigates and answers inquiries from various internal areas concerning questions on deviations and/or production orders for major account customers.
Interprets, verifies and maintains customer-specific information in data base (terms of agreements, shipping methods, override requirements, etc.)
Coordinate all customer contracts (distributors, brokers, dealers, broadliners, etc.)
Processes all rebates for customers per contract terms.
Based on business need; assists, supports and/or performs administrative support duties for other areas, units or departments.
Continuously reviews current processes & procedures, and searches out improvement methods to reduce waste, rework, & unnecessary work that add no value.
Reviews & prioritizes daily all incoming requests for quotations for BC custom supply products.
Identifies manufacturing processes & components required to produce custom supplies including presses & other related items to develop accurate cost.
Develops product layout requirements & creates/updates Bill of Material system. Creates Bill of Material and Routings in Oracle manually or through TPS (quoting) system.
Utilizes TPS (quoting) system to create product cost for production standards.
Associate Degree in related field or equivalent experience demonstrated in analytical and logical reasoning.
Minimum six years business experience. Experience in converting and printing process environment preferred.
Must be able to demonstrate strong PC proficiency utilizing Word, Excel, Oracle, & Google.
Basic understanding of cost estimating theory and principles gained through experience or formal education.
Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations with a high degree of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Must have good interpersonal communication skills including professional demeanor, tact, and ability to maintain good relationships with internal/external customers.
Must have excellent planning and organizational skills as well as judgement, analysis and decision making skills.
