Job Description

The Financial Analyst helps prepare forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, general business conditions and other related areas. Utilizing PC and/or mainframe based systems and software, compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of data.

REPRESENTATIVE ACTIVITIES:

  • Support and assist in the Annual Operating Plan process.

  • Perform routine calculations to produce analysis’ and reports as requested by the PSD Global Financial Planning & Analyst.

  • Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets

  • Assist in a variety of functions in the support of the sales force, such as territory alignment and monitoring the sales within territories; periodically publishing sales activity reports

  • Help monitor the sales quota in accordance with the profit plan

  • Assist in preparing economic/financial research and analysis for use in the development of business strategies and tactics.

  • Support global operations on an as-needed basis.

  • Look for opportunities to improve the process effectiveness and improvements.

Finance Support Representative Activities:

  • Prepare month-end and variance reports. Ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis of financial data.

  • Involved with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

  • 0 - 3 years finance or related experience.

  • Skilled in proficiently using computers and related software in performing financial job tasks, specifically setting up spreadsheet formulas, linking spreadsheets, extracting data, developing graphs.

  • Strong multi-tasking skills

  • Good analytical, organizational and communication skills.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field.
