Your responsibilities will include:
Investigates and determines validity of all customer questions and issues with fulfilled orders and communicates the resolution directly with customers in a professional and tactful manner.
Establishes priorities and proceeds on own judgment to uphold the highest levels of customer satisfaction while operating within Avery Dennison policies. Escalates those problems, which cannot be resolved to the customers’ satisfaction within Avery Dennison policies, to management for further evaluation and resolution.
Prepares credit memos. Notifies appropriate sales person and or sales manger or service manager of impending credits to their territories.
Negotiates customer product/billing issues by offering discounts, authorizing returns, requesting ticket, tag and label testing by Quality Assurance and approving replacement orders.
Incumbent enters customer replacement orders as appropriate with extraordinary attention to detail and accuracy to insure the replacement order is manufactured 100% to the customers’ expectations.
Maintains awareness and competency on all current and non-current products through catalogs, price books, marketing collateral, technical publications, illustrated parts breakdown lists, product & training manuals, product video tapes and product training.
What we will be looking for:
Associate Degree in business or related field of study or equivalent in education/experience is preferred.
Two years of customer contact experience in a sales, customer service or credit area.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge utilizing PC in a Windows based environment and experience in the utilization and applications of Order Entry and Customer Data Base Software. Must be fluent in communicating via email for both internal and external customers.
Basic math, including decimals and percentages.
Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
Must possess a high degree of self control, have the ability to analyze complex situations and reply quickly in a variety of situations. Must have good judgment.
