Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

As Regional Key Account Manager, you will join a fast-paced, growing division working to digitize the logistics industries. This role is responsible for facilitating relationships at both national and local levels.  You will develop and lead territory sales growth by establishing a regular meeting cadence with key sites, identifying new sales opportunities and maintaining the current business.     This role requires the ability to work and collaborate in a team environment, to drive strategic account growth.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

Management & Development of Relationships

  • Responsible for supporting existing national accounts to maintain and protect our position in the industry for key solutions in IPS, barcode and printer solutions 

  • Lead and Own all account management activities: receive and process POs, move to ecommerce or stock items where appropriate, drive new item requests and support A/R 

Excellence in Execution

  • Execute account requests, resolve issues and deliver creative solutions that exceed customer expectations

  • Guide order process to assure proper planning and execution, moving to new products where needed

  • Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and product development personnel to assure program success

  • Utilize CRM to drive appropriate forecasting, contact creation and order execution

  • Maintain a strong personal relationship with direct and distributor accounts requiring additional support

Account and Market Expertise

  • Determine the best strategy to maintain relationships and service to distributors, IPS customers and  small to mid sized barcode accounts

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the industry and customer, platforms, and strategies and be able to provide innovative customer-focused ideas

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING TO THE TEAM: 

Avery Dennison has a long history of being a market leader.  Your history is important to us. It should include the following: 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience

  • Successful account management skills 

  • Expert customer service skills

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and interact with individuals at all levels of assigned accounts and within our internal network

  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills

  • Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Google Suite, CRM software, and function-specific software.

  • Skilled in preparing professionally written proposals and service responses

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision

  • Strong business acumen
