As a Talent Sourcer with the Avery Dennison you will directly impact our business results by sourcing and screening top quality talent. Talent Acquisition is critical to the success of our business and we need social, savvy recruiters and sourcers to support our aggressive hiring goals and share our leadership principles, core values, and passion for innovation with each and every candidate.
This role is a contract position and will be located remotely or in our Mentor, OH regional Headquarters.
Partner with Talent Acquisition Managers and Hiring Managers to establish sourcing and recruitment strategies to create and foster active and passive candidate pipelines
Understand the hiring needs and build targeted sourcing plans, managing the hiring manager's expectations along the way
Proactively search for, identify, network with and directly contact active and passive job seekers, both internally and externally, for challenging-to-hire vacancies. Source the very best candidates using a variety of channels that are aligned to and effectively communicate the employer brand
Evaluate employment qualifications such as job experience, education and training, skills, and knowledge and abilities for non-exempt and exempt positions through resume/profile review and phone screening as appropriate
Mastery of Applicant Tracking Technology to enable speed and effectiveness
Track and communicate sourcing activity to Talent Acquisition Managers and Hiring Managers as necessary
Actively participate in providing feedback and recommendations to enhance day-to-day recruiting operations
Continue to build Talent Pipeline and manage communications of Avery Dennison openings and news
Learn and provide back-up coverage to TA Operations (ie scheduling, requesting substance screens etc)
3-5 years of recruiting/talent sourcing experience
Sourcing experience in either corporate or staffing agency setting preferred
Demonstrated experience and/or ability to learn innovative direct sourcing techniques with the ability to build and maintain a network of talent preferred
Strong organizational skills
Good technical aptitude; ability to navigate multiple systems such as the google platform and all social sourcing tools
Team-oriented, collaborative nature: We are a fast-moving team and everyone needs to pull for each other, share best practices, and take on team projects to make the entire organization better
Experience with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter and boolean searches is desired
