Our Inventory Analysts are involved in improving the effectiveness of our value chain, from raw materials to customer delivery. We work cross-functionally to improve processes that positively impact the customer, asset management, and profitability across the division.
The Inventory Analyst is directly responsible for setting inventory targets to align to business objectives and working with the manufacturing sites and the business to achieve those results. The individual reports inventory results, analyzes trends related to inventory performance and identifies improvement opportunities. You will have the opportunity to collaborate in projects with different levels and functions within the organization that will make an impact in the future success of the business.
You could be involved in ensuring the effectiveness of the following processes:
Overall inventory target setting, including calculating standard inventory and alignment to business goals.
Providing support to SLOB inventory management processes and projects to reduce SLOB accrual and identify proactive reductions to SLOB generation.
Improve inventory forecasting and projection processes.
Implement process based solutions to support business initiatives
Inventory planning strategy and parameter management in ERP system
ELS; Enterprise Lean Sigma improvement initiatives
Bachelor’s Degree required; Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials and Logistics or related preferred.
2+ years Supply Chain, Materials, Logistics or related experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel / Access)
Experience with Oracle ERP preferred
- Able to understand what customers value and to identify/execute logistics strategies that enhance the divisions capabilities to deliver that value
Ability to conduct research, prepare comprehensive reports and present complex statistical information in a clear and succinct fashion.
Can evaluate multiple variables to arrive at the optimum solution
Experience with six sigma and lean manufacturing preferred
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to scale solutions to meet critical delivery dates
Competency in objective setting, and providing appropriate situational leadership to execute these strategies
Able to see and understand the broad context of events
Ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements.
