Avery Dennison is seeking a Service Consultant to join the Label and Graphic Materials Group Customer Support organization. This role will be aligned with the Labels and Packaging Materials business and will provide exceptional Customer Service to assigned customers and accounts. The successful candidate will manage accounts in terms of order processing, order follow-up, pricing integrity, on-time deliveries, and complete order fulfillment. This position will also be responsible for aged material disposition.
Hours: 9am - 6pm EST
Management of customer accounts in terms of order processing, order follow-up, pricing integrity, on-time delivery, expediting, and complete order fulfillment.
Detail oriented with excellent prioritization skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Strong written, verbal and phone skills
Predict and respond to order deviations by analyzing order trend data.
Partner with Sales to implement account service strategies.
Support sales related activities to ensure pricing accuracy including price quotes & quote follow-up.
Actively identify service improvement opportunities that enhance the customer experience.
Champion customer needs, proactively follow-up on customer inquiries, and be the customer’s advocate by driving the voice of the customer (VOC) into the organization
Coordinate with Logistics, Operations, and Transportation to ensure on-time delivery
Be a thoughtful, proactive team member and back-up team members when workload makes this necessary.
Support key strategic divisional initiatives.
Proactively communicate supply chain issues and provide alternatives.
System knowledge Oracle, Google, Salesforce, MicrosoftExcel, & function specific software
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree a plus
Minimum 3 - 5 years customer service or related experience a plus
Strong problem solving skills
Works with moderate supervision
Strong written, verbal, and phone skills
Detail oriented with excellent time management & prioritization skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Strong data entry and organizational skills required
