Job Description

We are looking for a highly capable Salesforce.com CRM specialist to ensure that Avery Dennison capitalizes on the benefits offered by the Salesforce.com CRM system. In this role, you will lead the functional administration, support, maintenance, and stability of the Salesforce.com platform. These duties will include creating user accounts, maintaining our sales databases, and training staff on the effective use of Salesforce.com products. It will also include regular collaboration with Salesforce.com CRM internal users to gather feedback and discuss improvements and evolution of our usage of the platform. 

To ensure success in this role, you should possess extensive knowledge of Salesforce CRM system administration and the ability to work with multiple internal stakeholders and partners.. Salesforce.com Specialists ensure that their Salesforce expertise translates into optimized sales department operations.

Salesforce.com Specialist’s Responsibilities: Ensure optimal performance of Salesforce.com systems and products.

  • Collaborate on the configuration of Salesforce.com systems for optimized integration.

  • Oversee the management of Salesforce.com roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups.

  • Importing sales department leads, contacts, and other data.

  • Maintaining the sales cloud, as well as building custom reports and dashboards.

  • Provide expertise and support in service cloud implementation and maintenance.

  • Understand new features and offerings of Salesforce.com and determine how their capabilities can be best used, as well as providing training and support to users

  • Diagnose and recommend areas to address usage gaps and opportunities

  • Perform data integrity maintenance tasks, including duplicate entry cleansing.

  • Documenting processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables.

  • Preparing reports for sales and other departments.

  • Ability to research and independently increase Salesforce.com skills, as well as keep up to date on Salesforce.com releases

  • Acts as an expert technical resource to internal Digital Solutions groups and platform stakeholders. 

  • Provides feedback and recommendations to leadership on platform optimization, security, and stability.


Salesforce.com Specialist Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field.

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce.com Specialist in a similar environment.

  • Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce.com systems.

  • Experience in leveraging Salesforce.com’s upgraded functionality and ensuring its successful adoption.

  • Exceptional ability to create and maintain Salesforce.com databases.

  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce.com products and their functionalities.

  • Detailed understanding of Salesforce.com profiles, allocating roles, and managing access.

  • Knowledge of importing sales data and generating Salesforce.com reports.

  • Ability to provide Salesforce.com training and end-user support.
