What we are looking for
Avery Dennison’s North America Leadership Development Program (LDP) runs with a single business focus to build talent for our rapidly growing organization. With a concentrated blend of experiential on-the-job learning and classroom and virtual training, the LDP serves as the talent pipeline for leadership roles throughout the region.
We are searching for individuals with a strong business insight and communication skills who are eager to explore and develop their technical knowledge to be our next Information Management (IM) Associates. We are not looking for IT wizards, but rather individuals who are data driven and enjoy tinkering with technology. As an IM Associate, you will be able to develop highly marketable technical skills and you will work cross-functionally with multiple areas of the business. IM Associates receive in-depth exposure to both global and functional parts of the organization by rotating through different assignments over the course of 30 months. The position is based in Mentor, Ohio - outside Cleveland. We are only considering individuals who are excited about relocating to Northeast Ohio for the program.

The primary roles and responsibilities of this LDP position will be dependent on business needs, and might also be tailored to individual LDP strengths and interests. IM Associates are able to work cross-functionally on a number of projects and assignments with not only different aspects of our business, but also on a global scale. All of the projects will provide a comprehensive exposure to and a strong foundation in Information Management at a Fortune 500 company.

What you will need to bring to the program
Avery Dennison has a long history of being an industry leader. Your history is important to us. It should include the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Finance, Business or related field required. Expected graduation date should be December 2019 (to start in January 2020) or May 2020 (to start in June 2020)
Previous internship or co-op experience required
Leadership experience via student organizations, athletics, intramural sports, volunteerism or similar activities
Heavy interest in applying technology to solve business issues
Structured Query Language (SQL) Experience (Strongly Preferred)
Flexibility and willingness to relocate to Northeast Ohio for the program
Ability to travel around 10% of the time
