Primary Responsibility: analyze, develop, and maintain accurate supplier performance data for the entire Avery Dennison LGM and IHM organizations. This role requires continuous improvement of the supplier performance management program, the ability to generate reports, build and maintain queries and gather business data from MRP, data warehouse and financial reporting systems while meeting key metrics. A good understanding of key supply chain processes and/or quality processes is a must.
The successful candidate must possess above average analytical skills and have the ability to effectively communicate technical information across business groups. The individual will need to be a self-starter, have a good attitude, have good attention to detail, and have a desire to help shape the overall business. The individual also needs to be very comfortable using and learning new software packages.
Primary Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the Global Supplier Scorecard
Onboard new sites to the platform
Work with Procurement managers and their suppliers to address service & quality data concerns
Train and onboard new Avery Dennison employees and suppliers to the platform
Train Avery Dennison Procurement and Operations personal globally
Lead software design improvements to the Scorecard.
Maintain data accuracy by working with site Supply Chain and Quality teams globally
Maintain and update reference files to ensure data accuracy
Maintain scorecard user access globally
Manage all aspects of the Global Avery Dennison Supplier Claims and Rejections (SCAR) Tool.
Maintain all supplier and site information on the platform
Work with the vendor to resolve any performance issue with the platform
Add new sites to the platform
Develop & execute performance improvement plans with Procurement managers and key suppliers which directly impacts claim reduction, service and working capital improvement.
Provide analytical supplier performance reports to the Procurement organization. Focus on trends and opportunities to maximize improvement in supplier quality and delivery.
Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred to have 2-5 years experience in Operations, Procurement or Supply Chain
Energetic with great attitude and ability to learn
Knowledge of MS Office with good Excel skills required (examples include pivot tables and vlookup)
Must be able to communicate technical information to a wide variety of users globally
Good problem solving skills
Good knowledge of supply chain purchase order processes.
Ability to travel globally to all Avery Dennison manufacturing locations. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
