We are currently seeking a passionate professional to be a key member of our divisional Enterprise Lean Sigma team. In this role you will be challenged with multiple opportunities aimed at improving our core processes through embedding the basic, intermediate and advanced principles of Lean and Six Sigma. In addition, you will partner with various leaders across the organization to identify and innovate new ways of delivering value to our customers.
Key responsibilities of this role:
Coach and mentor individuals and teams on Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques
Aid teams in establishing sustained improvements
Facilitate Kaizen, blitz, and problem solving events
Communicate to and influence all levels up, down, and across the organization as many projects are cross-functional and highly visible
Solve challenging problems and teach others to be better problems solvers
Understand and respond to your internal and external stakeholder needs
Help others embrace innovation and experimentation through rapid cycles of learning
Be part of developing and delivering our Lean, Six Sigma, and problem solving training platform
Make decisions based on data and teach others to do the same
Identify and pilot new techniques and technologies to remove waste from our processes

Some things we need from you:
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in engineering or a related field
A minimum of 7 years of Lean, Six Sigma, and problem solving experience
Six Sigma Greenbelt (required) or Blackbelt (preferred) certification
A passion for solving problems
Proven ability to assess and solve business critical challenges in both operations and transactional areas
Be a strategic thinker, tactical executioner, and developer of people and sustainable change
Must be able to multitask, foster a change culture, and communicate to all areas that are affected by any changes in the business
Be located near a major Avery Dennison Label and Graphic Materials Division site, preferably in Mentor, OH, or Greenfield, IN
Travel up to 30% could be required in the future, depending on primary location
