Job Description

The RFID Technology Engineer will be responsible for the development and deployment of RFID product control plans. This role will work with the other platform team engineers, product line managers and the operations team to plan trials to run product for testing and validation. This engineer will then be responsible for testing the trial products and for generating the control plans that operations will use to ensure the product meets requirements. Additionally this role will manage the RFID Platform lab and activities.

  • Responsible for conducting failure analysis, troubleshooting and reporting on RFID performance issues.

  • Will work with Product Line Managers, Quality Assurance, and Engineers to create test plans and schedules and provide regular updates to team.

  • Must coordinate with Engineers, Product Line Managers, Quality Team and manufacturing sites for shipping and receiving of samples.

  • Will work with the Global Quality team to identify root causes and corrective actions, and assist with corrective action deployment.

  • Must work with Engineers to design, build and test prototype parts.

  • Responsible for managing RFID Platform lab activities, including general upkeep, organization, calibration and equipment maintenance.

  • Responsible for creating purchase orders for lab and other Platform activities

  • Will provide training plans and conduct training to operations and quality personnel.

  • Perform other Platform and New Product Development activities as required by Platform Team/


  • 3-plus years experience in quality assurance or manufacturing required.

  • Experience in RFID or semiconductor manufacturing preferred

  • Highly organized and attention to detail

  • High energy, passion for excellence, bias for action.

  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets knowledge required

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present complex topics in a concise manner.

  • Autocad, Minitab experience preferred.

  • Experience with six sigma and lean manufacturing preferred

  • Fluent in Spanish preferred

  • Travel up to 10%.

  • Bachelor's degree required, STEM majors strongly preferred
