Job Description
The Regional Data Services Manager provides strategic leadership and ensures tactical end to end management for online ordering and variable data items. A key focus of this role is to drive team collaboration through item and solution development by bringing clarity on our business goals, demonstrating interdependence between front and back end responsibilities and developing synergetic global processes to increase flexibility within the overall team. End to end management requires the building of strong teams to support customer needs ranging from customer council on ordering solutions and variable data interfaces through to deployment of timely solutions and items to meet customer needs
In addition to supporting financial and market share growth for online and variable data items the Regional Data Services Manager is responsible for engaging and planning resources to deliver internal improvement and operational changes to optimize the variable data item supply chain.
Your Responsibilities
Function as regional lead for all end to end variable data and online ordering needs
Provide ideation to internal teams to realize opportunities to improve E2E variable data services and development metrics
Strategize with the project manager to forecast problems, assess potential risks and solutions, and plan alternatives.
Responsible for building strong, knowledgeable and motivated front end and back teams to support end to end variable data developments and online ordering solutions
Provide guidance to customers and internal teams on optimal solutions for both parties. Focusing on and guiding towards future platforms within the AD digitization strategy
Ensure all team members engage internal and where necessary, external stakeholders to collaboratively build solutions and deliver to agreed lead times
Drive simplification and synergetic processes across regions to maximize resource flexibility in both DSS & Automation teams
Build strong and collaborative relationships with Sales team to proactively support customer and business needs
Overall responsibility for team productivity, performing to agreed metrics and driving continuous improvements to achieve marketing leading services levels to our customers
Build resource and action plans to support IT and Operation requirements for business optimization in conjunction with Strategic Data Services Project Manager
Work collectively with global variable data team to flex resource and optimize productivity
Qualifications
Strong interest in information technology solutions and data analysis.
2+ years experience in people management.
Proven ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships
Commercial acumen and strategic thinking
Strong written oral communication skills
System integration and production workflow understanding
Organisation and project management skills
3+ years of experience in data analysis, system integration or B2B customer service preferred
Knowledge of the retail, apparel or label industries an advantage
Ability to work independently
Fluent in English
Willingness to be flexible towards working hours and off-site travel
