Job Description

This position plays a critical role in developing information systems by designing, developing, and/or supporting systems for RFID development & encoding systems.The System and Solutions Developer will help drive overall development, and data management solutions by analyzing information of current practices, and building out robust variable data and encoding platforms for the RFID Food development programs. General Programming skills, software design, software debugging, software documentation, problem-solving skills, and teamwork skills are an absolute must. Operational Developer will drive and execute software development fundamentals, software development process, and software requirements for all RFID Food item development and deployment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Focus on RFID technology item development. Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

  • Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.

  • Requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis

  • Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)

  • Software and hardware modeling and simulation

  • Front end graphical user interface design

  • System testing and quality assurance

  • Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.

Qualifications

Excellent communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information and ideas in a tactful and confident manner to internal and external contacts.

Bachelor’s degree in computer/software programming strongly preferred

Someone with a passion for programming and 5+ years of software/hardware development experience.

Strong math and analytical skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science or related field.

Understanding of RFID technology, sensors and microcontrollers required.

Programming experience is essential.

PLC programming and solidworks experience is a big plus.

Project management and operations experience is a big plus.

Experience of C firmware programming is a big plus.

Demonstrate working knowledge/experience in electronics field.

A background in electronics is highly desirable.

Strong organization and attention to detail.

Knowledgeable on process documentation and improvement.

Strong verbal and written skills.
