The position is for a Sr. Business Analyst to join our team and continue our eCommerce digital transformation journey.
We are looking for an individual who can work on next-generation customer-facing eCommerce applications. As a senior BA you will be a leader on the eCommerce team responsible for eliciting business requirements, designing solutions and solving specific business requirements. In this role, you will closely collaborate with business leaders, IT owners, and partners to deliver best in class eCommerce solutions.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Conduct discovery meetings with SME’s and clearly document functional and technical requirements
Create and maintain updated documentation on business processes, applications and business solutions including process flows, use cases, functional specifications, test cases, training and system manuals, and job aids
Serve as the conduit for the flow of requirements between the business stakeholders, IT teams, and support teams.
Lead and/or assist in creating the JIRA epics and stories for agile development and delivery.
Lead and/or assist quality assurance activities for small to medium projects
Assist in identifying the root cause of system and operational issues, analyze data and recommend solutions
Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs and recommend improvements
Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to SMEs during testing / UAT processes
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers is a must
Provide updates to stakeholders
Self-starter, with the ability to work independently and without the need for individual task-management and supervision
Performs other duties as assigned
8 + years of Business Analyst experience is required
8 + years of Information Technology experience is required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required
5+ years of B2B eCommerce domain and project experience
Knowledge of system/program design
2-3 B2B project implementations experience
Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) experience is preferred.
Experience with other Oracle products like Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Oracle Service Cloud, Oracle Fusion, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus
Knowledgeable in best practices and design patterns
Good oral and written communication skills
Must possess strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Experience in writing stories using Jira
Quick learner and have a great attitude as a team player
