Job Description

  • Be a critical business partner to the RBIS Leadership team reporting to the Director of FP&A

  • Manage preparation of all financial reports, presentations and projections

  • Provide direct support to RBIS Vice President/General Manager

  • Support the Annual Operating Plan process for the RBIS division

  • Support the 5 yr Strategic Plan consolidation process

  • Coordinate Corporate reporting requirements with Avery Dennison HQ

  • Drive working capital and free cash flow optimization

  • Work closely with businesses within RBIS to drive working capital optimization

  • Drive innovative working capital solutions

  • Put in place working capital governance process in place

  • Partner with the business to deliver free cash flow

  • Lead the Global Service Principal (GSP) Unit financial processes

  • Liaise with Corporate departments on shared service expenses

  • Support functional leaders with critical decision making

  • Support tax and HR functions to manage GSP functional structure for tax requirements

  • Support worldwide finance team with financial systems

  • Provide first level support to RBIS finance teams for FP&A related activities in financial systems

  • Lead efforts to design tools for improved reporting and efficiency

  • Key contact / stakeholder for RBIS division for Corporate financial systems team

  • Liaise with Corporate departments on shared service expenses

  • Participate and drive various business projects across the RBIS business

  • Develop and train staff on FP&A concepts related to the RBIS business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent education and years of experience required.

  • CPA/MBA is preferred.

  • 10+ years finance or accounting with P&L or related experience with 7 years prior supervisory or management experience.

  • Demonstrated skills in financial planning and analysis

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships

  • Self starter with ability to work independently

  • Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

  • Ability to handle a fast paced, complex environment

  • Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Oracle and function specific software.

  • Has well-developed leadership and project management skills.

  • Excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills.

  • Fluency in English essential.
