Job Description

Avery Dennison is seeking a Salesforce.com Administrator to join the Global Commercial Systems team. Reporting to the Salesforce Product Manager, this person will be fully responsible for supporting the global roll-out of Salesforce.com with flawless execution.

In this role, you will also serve as the primary point of contact for users who require support, configuration, reporting & training. You will be the internal expert for Salesforce.com functionality. The ideal candidate is customer focused, action oriented & committed to driving exceptional results.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Understand & translate the sales strategy, business goals and Global Account Management processes into a solution that meets the needs for complex user requirements.

  • Ensure proper documentation on Business Requirements, Training Materials, Functional Design, Process & Data Flows, Use Cases & Test Plans/Scripts.

  • Drive user adoption & best practices to further the long-term success of the system.

  • Communicate project status to executive stakeholders via status reports & project meetings.

  • Perform all tasks related to the day-to-day operation of Salesforce.com, including user management, creating & maintaining custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, and maintenance of page layouts.

  • Develop & maintain all reports, dashboards, workflows & sharing rules within Salesforce.com to improve visibility to activities, pipeline & forecast.

  • Respond to issues & requests from users throughout the global organization, including technical & functional issue resolution, data load management, data quality and training on new features & functionality. Identify & support the implementation of new Salesforce.com features & functions in response to business needs, while managing a timely release schedule for system enhancements.

  • Analyze the existing implementation of Salesforce.com and make recommendations for improvement or best practices.

  • Stay current with periodic Salesforce.com releases and advise management on applicable updates & feature enhancements.

  • Participate actively in change management efforts to implement better practices, new processes & improvements in overall performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, with concentration in Computer Science or Information Systems. Salesforce.com Administrator Certification REQUIRED. (Will be Verified)

  • Salesforce.com Advanced Administrator Certification STRONGLY PREFERRED.

  • Service Cloud experience a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of Salesforce.com experience with Enterprise or Unlimited Edition, including customizing objects, workflow and validation rules.

  • Prior experience leading & executing a global Salesforce.com implementation for highly-matrixed organization strongly desired.

  • Must have knowledge of Salesforce.com security (roles, profiles, role hierarchy and sharing rules) & a strong understanding of relational data.

  • Experience with data clean up procedures, including utilization of Salesforce.com data tools such as Data Loader, DemandTools & Excel Connector.

  • Ability to translate business objectives re. sales strategy & methodology into technical requirements.

  • 5-7 years of global project management experience, with an emphasis on sales automation and/or analytics & reporting.

  • Advanced Data Modeling experience, with a solid understanding of translating business requirements into data architecture needs.

  • Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (QlikView / QlikSense) & familiarity with Hyperion suite of products a plus.

  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, delivering high quality work while under significant deadline pressure.

  • Excellent overall business acumen & organizational savvy, including expert level presentation & meeting facilitation skills.

  • Expert in Microsoft Office products, including Excel & PowerPoint and Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Advanced Google/Java Scripting capabilities highly desired.

  • Strong record of achievement, with solid analytical skills & an entrepreneurial hands-on approach to work. Previous sales operations experience highly preferred.
