Job Description

We are looking for an experienced technology guru who can drive technology transformation and continue to help us build a digital business. The ideal candidate must be highly passionate about harnessing the power of tech to serve business goals, immersed in technological advancements, opportunities, and challenges, with endless curiosity on how they impact the business. Key responsibilities are leading a global team involved in delivering Azure One IoT platform, Digital solutions, connected factory, connected printers, Printing label development and transforming legacy application to cloud-enabled, driving agile culture, and supporting IT strategies.

This individual will be responsible for representing, promoting, and advancing technology capabilities, executing strategic direction, and driving digital solution execution, resulting in growth across all digital platforms including microservices API, Data monetization, AI, and connected machine (IoT), printing technology etc. Other responsibilities will include execution of digital journey for Retail Branding Informations Solutions (RBIS) and have the ability to work with cross-functional teams including programming, sales, marketing, operations, build internal systems and processes for consistently producing high level, differentiated customer, factory, product and employee experiences and measuring success, and be a tireless watchdog for quality and accuracy.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Focused on user experience, Lean Thinking, and the ability to lead complex ideation across functions. This is a critical capability that RBIS needs to drive digital maturity across the business

  • Passionate about the possibilities of digital to delight and inspire markets to rapidly adopt new digital products using digital technologies such as IoT hub, javascript, react.js, nodejs, css, Unity, Swift; Project Mgmt. Tools like GitHub, Azure, GitHub Actions, Azure Platform, Digital Analytics Tools like Snowflake, QlikSense, PowerBI; and Portal and Cloud Technology Tools including Azure, Oracle, s, etc.

  • Appreciate the mix of strategic thinking and turning developments into deployments

  • Motivated to keep learning and to forget the obsolete

  • Energized by working both independently and interdependently and cross functions

  • Motivated to work agile and being open to the change

  • Deep understanding of how to set up and manage a successful release and rollout of digital products together with relevant stakeholders

  • Extensive experience in planning of digital product rollouts

  • Extensive knowledge of planning management and building integrated and structured frameworks

  • Deep understanding of change management techniques and digital transformation practices

  • Experience of working with iterative, agile product development and deployment teams, including key events and artifacts

  • Experience in handling complex environment with multiple products launches happening across different markets simultaneously

  • Represent and promote the agency’s development and technology capabilities as well as proposed technology solutions in new business presentations and client meetings

  • Assume overall accountability of the development of digital products/ solutions from planning to inception

  • Ensure the delivery of impactful, innovative digital products/solutions in budget and on time by collaborating with members of the development, UX, project management, strategy, account service and creative

  • Serve as a key player and a visionary along with other leaders in the advancement of capabilities and offerings that are designed to develop and grow brands in the digital age

  • Develop, mentor, inspire and manage all the members of the team

  • Participate in new business activities by proposing solutions

  • Serve as the lead expert in explaining complex technical solutions in a simple yet impactful manner, and in presenting trade-offs to internal teams and clients through clearly articulated evidence

  • Lead and strengthen technology partner relationships

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Computer Science

Experience:

  • 10-15 years + years of experience leading software engineering and Agile digital development.

  • Experience with Project Methodologies (Agile design thinking, cultural transformation, etc.)

  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

  • Professional written, presentation and spoken communication skills in English

  • Travel up to 30%
