Job Description

The Global Supply Chain Excellence Senior Manager is responsible for driving the global footprint and supply chain model together with the GSC digitalization transformation to enhance customer experience, support business growth and improve company’s profitability to best serve and win with our brands.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Global Supply Chain Digitalization Transformation to form central demand and supply planning control tower, integrated with any planning platform, IoT or AI solution..etc  to increase the planning accuracy and efficiency

  • Develop global footprint and supply chain model, integrated with cross functional strategies (e.g. DFM, Manufacturing 4.0…)  in order to enhance customer experience by customer segment, support business growth and improve company’s profitability.

  • Provide thought leadership on emerging supply chain trends, technologies, and best practices.

  • Regularly arrange global footprint and supply chain assessments to ensure global resources balancing and supply chain efficiency 

  • Provide leadership and direction to supply chain staff, ensuring the development of a high performing team with a focus on continuous improvement.

Professional Qualifications:

Functional skills:

  • Ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies that drive value for the organization.

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, systems, and best practices.

  • Thorough knowledge about governance/policies & procedures

  • Ability in conducting demand statistical analysis with market knowledge, data management, usage of forecasting software and tools to automate calculations, generate predictions and visualizations of data 

  • Experience with supply chain technologies, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and warehouse management systems (WMS). AI-based planning in a plus

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including production planning, capacity management, inventory control, and scheduling

  • Knowledge of logistics and transportation processes, including selecting the most cost-effective transportation

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • Experienced in managing risk

  • Understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility

Other skills:

  • Project manager/ leadership skills both cross functional & cross culture 

  • Thorough knowledge of financial instruments and analytical tools 

  • Extensive usage of office softwares

  • Fluent in English language (spoken and written) 

  • Other language skills (spoken) will be a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum 7-8 years relevant experience within a strategic & tactical supply chain organization at regional or global level

  • International work experience in related function a plus

  • Experience in people management

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • Professional procurement certification, such as CPM, CPSM, or CSCP, is preferred.

     

Travel: 10% - 30%
