As the Global External Embellishment Analyst, you are responsible for providing fact based recommendations to the business leaders with the objective to drive sustainable & profitable growth. You are an expert in the External Embellishment ecosystem, gathering intelligence on the market trends, the competition, the fields of play, the consumer insights, the latest technologies and the general macroeconomic trends. Working closely with the rest of the business, especially the commercial and product teams, you will organize & articulate the intelligence into actionable initiatives, identifying and evaluating market opportunities that convert into new or incremental sales.
•Expertise in the External Embellishment market, including trends/insights, external market drivers, customer ecosystem.
•Gather intel on the market. Create and own the process to capture intelligence within and outside the company.
•Qualify & quantify opportunities. Recommend where to play to win based on facts.
•Support the preparation of the Go To Market tools with Marcomm & Creative.
•With Business development, Technical Sales and Product Line Management, develop and execute go-to-market strategy & identify new business opportunities for share gain.
•Recommend Senior Leadership wiring within the ecosystem (customers, partners,trade shows, universities).
•Strong analytical skills with proven experience at analyzing complex data
•Self-starter, takes initiative, and has an entrepreneurial spirit that is able to work independently and collaboratively
•Ability to understand and create value; demonstrated track record developing and executing new business ventures
•Strong influencing skills, public speaking skills, and ability to champion projects both cross functionally and vertically within the organization
•Strategic sales management experience, international exposure preferred
•Bachelor’s degree required
•6+ years related business experience, emphasizing sales, business development and marketing desired•Demonstrated success in cross-regional projects or initiatives•Advanced business and financial acumen needed•Experience in planning and forecasting, with practical experience in researching new opportunities and implementing successful account penetration•Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner•Experience in strategic leadership and negotiation•Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite tools and function specific software.•Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
•Apparel & Footwear industry relationships preferred
