Job Description

The ESG analyst will be a key piece of our growing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) team, responsible for ensuring relevant metrics are identified, captured, and reported to key stakeholders. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with the sustainability organization, EHS group, and other internal partners to identify data gaps and needs, and develop tracking and reporting tools to meet those needs. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary manager of sustainability scorecard data at a corporate level, working with individual metric and data owners to compile, update and validate.

  • Work across the organization to improve scope 3 climate data quality, granularity, and coverage. 

  • Assist in improving data governance processes and ensuring those are followed

  • Provide counsel to ESG and sustainability teams on ways to improve metrics, communication, and quality of data

  • Partner in efforts such as the ESG download, CDP report, policy alignment and others.

  • Serve as a validation resource for sustainability and ESG-related communications and build-out of customer self-serve information

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sustainability, or a scientific discipline

  • 2 years experience in related fields

  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and validate data of varying types

  • Good knowledge of ESG and Sustainability data sets, including carbon reporting

  • Ability to build relationships across an organization

  • Experience with database programs (Enablon preferred)
